Beaches

Whale Watching
While people flock to warmer climates in the often still-cold temperatures of Spring Break, so do animals. They’ve been here since about mid-December, but gray whales that called Alaskan waters home during the summer make their way down to Baja, likely during your Spring Break trip. The mammals’ trip is one of the longest taken by any mammal anywhere. From their arrival until about April, you can spot the majestic animals about 20 miles off the coast.
